Using AI Chat

Nuggetz.ai includes a built-in AI chat feature that helps you get insights from your saved nuggets. Ask questions, request summaries, or explore connections across your knowledge base.

Overview

The AI Chat feature acts as your personal assistant for your nugget collection. It can:

• Answer questions using your saved nuggets as context
• Summarize multiple nuggets on a topic
• Find connections between related insights
• Help you recall information you've saved

Accessing AI Chat

1. Navigate to your team dashboard
2. Click "Chat" in the sidebar
3. Start a new conversation or continue an existing one

How It Works

When you ask a question, the AI:

1. Searches your nuggets – Finds relevant saved insights
2. Retrieves context – Pulls in the most related information
3. Generates a response – Answers based on your knowledge base
4. Cites sources – Shows which nuggets it used

Recall Information

Chat Sessions

Starting a New Session

Each new chat session starts fresh. Use this when you want to:

• Explore a new topic
• Avoid confusion from previous context

Continuing a Session

Previous sessions are saved in the sidebar. Return to them to:

• Continue a train of thought
• Reference earlier answers
• Build on previous insights

Privacy & Data

• AI Chat only has access to your team's nuggets
• Conversations are private to your account
• The AI cannot access nuggets from other teams

Limitations

Keep in mind:

• The AI can only reference nuggets you've saved
• It may not find relevant nuggets if they're not well-tagged or titled
• Very recent nuggets may take a moment to be indexed

Best Practices

1. Save quality nuggets – The AI is only as good as your knowledge base
2. Use descriptive titles – Helps the AI find relevant content
3. Tag consistently – Makes it easier to narrow down searches
4. Review cited sources – Always verify the original nugget if accuracy is critical
