Installing the Chrome Extension

How to install and use the Nuggetz Chrome extension to save nuggets from AI chats.

The Nuggetz.ai Chrome extension is the easiest way to capture valuable insights from your AI conversations. This guide walks you through installation and setup.

Requirements

  • Google Chrome browser (or Chromium-based browsers like Brave, Edge or others)
  • A Nuggetz.ai account (sign up at https://app.nuggetz.ai)

Installation Steps

Step 1: Visit the Chrome Web Store

Click the link below to open the Nuggetz.ai extension in the Chrome Web Store:

Step 2: Add to Chrome

  1. Click the "Add to Chrome" button
  2. In the popup, click "Add extension" to confirm
  3. You'll see a confirmation message when the extension is installed

Step 3: Pin the Extension (Recommended)

To easily access Nuggetz.ai while chatting with AI:

  1. Click the puzzle piece icon in Chrome's toolbar (Extensions menu)
  2. Find Nuggetz in the list
  3. Click the pin icon to keep it visible in your toolbar

Signing In

After installation, you'll need to sign in to connect the extension to your Nuggetz.ai account:

  1. Click the Nuggetz.ai icon in your toolbar
  2. Click "Sign in"
  3. You'll be redirected to sign in with your Nuggetz.ai account
  4. Once signed in, you're ready to start capturing nuggets!

Supported AI Platforms

The extension works with all major AI chat platforms:

  • ChatGPT (chatgpt.com)
  • Claude (claude.ai)
  • Gemini (gemini.google.com)

Verifying Installation

To verify the extension is working correctly:

  1. Visit one of the supported AI platforms
  2. You should see the Nuggetz.ai icon appear in the interface
  3. If you don't see it, try refreshing the page

Troubleshooting

Extension Not Appearing

If the extension doesn't appear:

  • Make sure you're on a supported platform (ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini)
  • Try refreshing the page
  • Check that the extension is enabled in chrome://extensions

Sign-in Issues

If you're having trouble signing in:

  • Make sure you have a Nuggetz.ai account
  • Try signing in directly at app.nuggetz.ai first
  • Clear your browser cache and try again
