Teams Overview
Nuggetz.ai organizes everything around teams. Each team has:
- Its own collection of nuggets
- Shared tags
- Separate chat sessions
- Team member management
Types of Teams
Personal Teams
When you sign up, you get a personal team that's just for you. Use this for:
- Personal notes and research
- Private experimentation
- Information you don't want to share
Shared Teams
Create shared teams for collaboration. Use these for:
- Project-specific knowledge bases
- Department or company-wide insights
- Client work and deliverables
Creating a Team
- Click your team name in the sidebar
- Click "Create organization"
- Enter a team name
- Click "Create"
You're now the admin of your new team!
Inviting Team Members
As a Team Admin
- Go to team settings (click team name → "Manage")
- Navigate to "Members"
- Click "Invite"
- Enter their email address
- Choose their role (Editor or Admin)
- Click "Send Invite"
Member Roles

Switching Teams
If you're part of multiple teams:
- Click the team switcher in the sidebar
- Select the team you want to switch to
- The dashboard updates to show that team's content
Collaborative Workflows
Building a Shared Knowledge Base
- Establish conventions – Agree on tagging systems and naming
- Share actively – Save nuggets your team will find valuable
- Review together – Periodically review and organize as a team
- Use AI Chat – Let the AI help surface relevant insights
Project-Based Collaboration
For project teams:
- Create a team for the project
- Invite all project members
- Use consistent tags (e.g.,
frontend,backend,decisions) - Save nuggets from project-related AI conversations
- Use AI Chat to get project summaries and find decisions
Research and Learning
For research-focused teams:
- Save interesting findings and insights
- Tag by topic or research area
- Use AI Chat to synthesize across team members' notes
- Share summaries and key takeaways
Best Practices
Communication
- Agree on conventions – How to title, tag, and organize
- Share important finds – Notify team of particularly useful nuggets
- Review together – Schedule periodic knowledge base reviews
Quality Control
- Save meaningful content – Not every AI response needs saving
- Use descriptive titles – Others should understand at a glance
- Add context – Include why something is valuable when not obvious
Organization
- Consistent tags – Use the same tags across the team
- Regular cleanup – Archive or delete outdated nuggets
- Document conventions – Keep a pinned nugget with team guidelines
Leaving a Team
If you need to leave a team:
- Go to team settings
- Click "Leave Team"
- Confirm your choice
Note: You'll lose access to all nuggets in that team. Personal nuggets you created remain with the team.
Deleting a Team
As a team admin:
- Go to team settings
- Click "Delete Team"
- Confirm by typing the team name
- All nuggets and data are permanently deleted
Warning: This action cannot be undone. Make sure to export any important data first.
Privacy Considerations
- Team nuggets are visible to all team members
- Keep sensitive information in your personal team
- Review what you're sharing before saving to a shared team
- Admins can see all activity within the team
